life is not a soccer game

Goal!!! Familiar to that sound lately?
Soccer. Euro 2008. Yeah… whatever. I actually don’t feel like talking about it here, since I have not followed the soccer game as religious as I used to for the past 4 days. Why? Went to a cave and close my eyes instead. Trying to listen to my own heart beat, my voice of the heart, the real me.
Today, though – I’m going to talk about life and soccer. I used to live my life as a soccer game. But, eureka! I can finally see it from the other vantage point. Life is not a soccer game anyway. I don’t want to compete, running around like those 22 soccer player plus the referee, management, coach, hooligans and other millions of supporters that are screaming their voice out in front of the television.
I just want to live my life as simple as possible. Total awareness. I want to feel every beat of it. I don’t want to tackle somebody else’s legs, pushing him or here, screaming over another to get a small score/ point of life! Lets do the math. If we had 60 years of life to live, how many GOALS do you want to achieve?

2 X 45 minutes of soccer game, 60 years equals to 350.400 times of a soccer game. If we expect 2 goals to score in a soccer game, that means we have to score 700.800 goals in our life time. Can you imagine this? Imagine how exhausting life would be, with those number of goals?

No way! I don’t want to imagine or even thought of it. Not even in my dream. I actually feel a bit uncomfortable that I have counted the above score to achieve.

Somebody once said, “something you can not measure, you can not manage.”
Well, I completely agree with that saying, it fits for a profit company, but do we see ourselves as a profit company? Private sector? Product?
Hello? Are you there? We are definitely not a profit company. We are a living human being. Who need some fresh air. Take a deep breath… Enjoy every single moment of our life with total awareness. And be happy. Slowing down is not a sin. Life contains shelter over shelters. Cherish every step of your live. So, Im not going to set another goal again. Have no goal! Zero expectations!
Just live.. smile.., inhale and exhale… Hhhhh…..
